Special Care for Alzheimer's/Dementia
Many individuals are challenged on a regular basis to communicate and to accomplish once familiar tasks as a result of memory loss. We continually train our staff in our memory program to allow our residents the opportunity to receive the services and safety they need while allowing them to age with respect and dignity.

We provide residents an opportunity to be involved in meaningful activity at their individual level of capability round the clock. We understand that individuals with memory loss need an environment that is secure, yet continues to allow them to explore freely and provides the appropriate stimulation at appropriate times of the day.

Our special Alzheimer/Dementia services include:

• Individualized care specifically designed for residents in the early to middle stages of Alzheimer’s Disease and related memory impairments
• A safe and secure environment
• Daily activities structured for individual capabilities
• Safe, outdoor walking area in an enclosed courtyard
• 24-hour emergency response system
• 24-hour assistance by staff trained in working with individuals with memory impairments
• 24-hour nursing care
• Assistance with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Homelike environment
• Three nutritious meals served daily with snacks available throughout the day
• Common areas including a living room, activity area and kitchen
• Scheduled resident outings/day trips
