One of the challenges that older adults may face is dementia. AdCare has dedicated a great deal of time to research and development of specialized programs to care for this condition. Our desire is to provide structured programs and communication to residents with cognitive impairments while continuing to provide the highest possible quality of life and care.

Through programs such as communications art and comprehension clock tests we are able to individualize the residents activities to assist them in maintaining their level of functioning for as long as possible or even improve mental functioning if medically applicable.
